About me: I am a graduate of Cab Calloway School of the Arts where I majored in Technical Theatre and was able to design, rig, and program lighting for a variety of musicals, plays, dance recitals, school showcases, and theater rental events. I am excited to continue my education in New York City where I am pursuing a BFA in Production and Design at Pace University.
My personal statement: When I think about what I want to do with my life, it involves problem solving in a creative environment. The theatre is that for me. It is a unique space to combine technical challenges with creative solutions while being surrounded by many talented and passionate people.
My creative process: It all begins with a vision to tell the story. With a collaborative approach, my goal is to create innovative, engaging lighting designs.
My objective: To find opportunities that offer hands-on experiences where I can expand my knowledge of lighting technology and general theatrical production and design.
What else: In my free time I like to explore New York City, listen to music, sketch, bake, run, and spend time with friends and family.
